Although this isn’t an exhaustive list of the tools I recommend to my clients, it’s enough to get you started. As always, you should carefully review any product before putting it into use for your business.

Dissenter is a free-speech, privacy-oriented web browser produced by the developers of Gab.com.
Brave is a Chromium-based web browser with some built-in privacy and security features.
The Epic web browser is part of a growing ecosystem that includes a built-in proxy and private Yandex-based search engine (epicsearch.in). This browser blocks ads, trackers, fingerprinting, cryptomining, ultrasound signaling and more. Stop 600+ tracking attempts in an average browsing session. Only use the built-in “free” VPN if you already have a reputable VPN in use.
Based on Mozilla, Palemoon has some built-in tools that improve online safety. Unfortunately, right now, Palemoon is only available for Windows and Linux.
Why’s Vivaldi on my list? It’s a Chromium-based web browser. However, the benefits of Vivaldi lie in its powerful tab-management features such as tab stacking and tiling. If you want to make it safe, you’ll have to button it with uBlock Origin and other essential plugins.

Wappalyzer is a cross-platform utility that uncovers the technologies used on websites. It detects content management systems, e-commerce platforms, web frameworks, server software, analytics tools and many more.
GTmetrix is a website that provides tools for measuring page speed. Many experts view GTmetrix as a more accurate assessment of page speed than Google’s PageSpeed Insights.
Page speed is a major SEO ranking factor for Google. This tool reports how Google measures the speed of your site. It also gives you meaningful suggestions for improving your website’s performance.
