AT&T has provided the National Security Agency (NSA) with direct access to their customer data. This means that everyone using AT&T voice and data services has no expectation of privacy. The Intercept has the story.
Quick Tip: Aside from going completely “off grid,” you can’t prevent the NSA accessing the voice and data that you send via your AT&T ISP or mobile phone service. However, you can substantially reduce your exposure by using apps such as Signal along with a secure virtual private network (VPN).
